Charitable Trust

Founded in 1999 by Mr. G. Venkat London along with few devoted and service oriented friends, the Trust has promoted and is carrying on successfully a number of social service activities in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, which have been expanding continuously.

Its Aims & Objectives:

To promote and support service activities in improving education and vocational training for the poor and under privileged, activities in maintaining and improving good health and happiness, and in areas of personality development in youth, supporting the aged, handicapped and the poor and, to undertake any other works of general public utility and welfare.

Current Activities:

Include scholarships to poor and merit students, prizes in competitions for students in personality development areas, donating books to deserving students/schools, feeding the poor, monthly pensions to poor widows, poor and disabled artistes, educating poor widow’s children, free tailoring classes for women and free training in computers to poor students at the centres established by the Trust, conducting workshops in laughter yoga, yoga pranayama, acupressure, naturopathy and supporting old-age homes and schools for the handicapped, vedic schools, running nature cure clinic and organising free medical guidance camps etc.

Proposed Activities:

Trust has already established and is running successfully a Nature Cure Hospital in Andhra Pradesh and plans to expand it further. Apart from increasing the current activities, based on support from the like minded and sufficient donations, the Trust proposes to develop new projects including: 1. The establishment of Personality Development & Yoga Institute 2. Vocational Training School and 3. Old Age Home, and the related.

SVCT is registered under No. E-18239 in Mumbai under the Charitable Trust Act, and donations to the Trust are exempt under Section 80G of the Indian I.T. Act. The Trust is approved under the Foreign Contributions (Regulations) Act by the Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi to receive donations from foreign countries also.
